ENTERTAINMENT:
During my career as an entertainer I have gone the hard yards learning my trade on the international circuit as an actor, comedian, emcee, impressionist, character voice-over, blues singer and Master of Ceremonies in corporate and fashion events since 1968.
I have appeared in several films, theatres and clubs throughout the world, including but not limited to: Australia, England, Japan, Philippines, Singapore and China. I have both promoted and produced many world championship martial arts and boxing events, as well as produced and directed a number of musical cabaret shows. My early years saw me follow in my parents footsteps as an actor (my mother Cynthia Ross was a theatrical actress and singer, and my father was the film actor Guy Doleman).
This led to me learning the theatre trade in London in 1971 after a stint in Japan, appearing in repertory in such plays as 'Busybody', 'Out of the Question', 'A Wet Winter's Nights Dream' at the Bush Theatre, and 'A Private Ear' at the Wimbledon Theatre.
In Australia I acted and directed local productions of 'The Club' and 'Last days In Wooloomooloo'. Later returning to Asia where I found ownership to a number of Restaurant and Cabaret Clubs, including the award winning 'Polo Garden Restaurant', 'Amigos', and 'Spurs Country Music Lounge' in Shenzhen China, 'Isis Cabaret' in Manila, and 'Players Live Music Club' in Chiang Mai Thailand.
I returned to Australia in 2015 then later in 2024 made Thailand my home where at 77 I still try to retain my outgoing flamboyant style shows that -
"All that glitters is not old!"
